House building is an integrated archway, worship hall and ancestral hall. This is the former site of the Soviet government in the west of Hunan and Hubei. The early Honghu independent regiment later developed into the leading organization of the new Sixth Army. This house was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. There are three words "Zongbo Fu" engraved on the lintel. According to the genealogy of the Qu family, in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a man named Jingchun (the word kunhu) who served as Minister of the Ministry of rites. His official position was three grade official position It is called "big uncle". In order to show the power of the family, posterity wrote "Zongbo Fu" on the ancestral hall, "in filial piety" on the right door, and "out of filial piety" on the left door. It means that all people who enter the ancestral hall to send their ancestors are filial. When they go out to make friends all over the world, they should be sincere to their friends, respect the elderly, and love their children.

The house is made of 108 pillars in the structure of three in the Ming Dynasty and five in the dark. A stone slab on the ground of the front hall is used by the patriarch to punish the clansmen for violating the rules. There are Cui Qi, Liu Zhixun, Zhou Yiqun and Peng Zhiyu's houses on the inside. The back hall provides the shrine of Qu wensiam, the local ancestor. Yang, Fu and Zhou are the three wives of Qu Xiangong. The Yang family did not have children and the Fu family died prematurely because of illness. The Zhou family gave birth to Qu Shengxiang and Qu Shenglu. The Qu surname of Qu Jiawan was spread by them. This place used to be called dacongwan. At that time, the main source of people's life was dacongye duck. Later, due to the increasing population and concentrated living of the Qu family, it was changed from dacongwan to Qujiawan in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty by Qu Guangdong's genealogy. There are three plaques "Zuo Changgeng", "you Qiming" and "kunhuyuanyuan" on it, which also means that the Qu family is always prosperous and far-off Long.
