The fallen walls are weathered with pheasant blossoms and mottled tin doors. This is an old revolutionary site that has been preserved. It is the seat of the West Hunan Hubei Branch of the CPC Central Committee. It was built in 1904, the thirtieth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, where Xia Xi, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, works, Xia Xi joined the Communist Party of China in 1921. He was an important backbone in the mass movement of Hunan Province. Later, he served as the Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. He was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China at the Fifth Congress of the Communist Party of China. In the spring of 1931, with the development of the revolutionary situation, the new Sixth Army and the county government of Western Hunan and Hubei of the Communist Party of China transferred from Shishou to Qujiawan.
